TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the WeightLossInjections.ie website and services, operated by Healthcare Now Limited, a company registered in Ireland under Company Registration Number 664253, with a registered office at Landscape House, Baldonnell Business Park, Dublin 22, D22 P3K7.

1. DEFINITIONS

“We”, “us” and “WeightLossInjections.ie” refer to Healthcare Now Limited, trading as Weight Loss Injections.

“You” / “User” refers to the person using the WeightLossInjections.ie website and services.

“Doctor” refers to a registered, independent medical practitioner engaged by you via the WeightLossInjections.ie platform.

“Service” refers to the online consultation, prescription facilitation, or related services offered via the website.

2. NATURE OF THE SERVICE

WeightLossInjections.ie provides a secure online platform that facilitates communication between users and independent, registered doctors. All medical consultations and prescriptions are carried out solely by doctors who operate independently and are registered with the Irish Medical Council or equivalent.

WeightLossInjections.ie does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and accepts no responsibility for the clinical decisions made by the prescribing doctor.

3. ELIGIBILITY

You must be 17 years of age or older to use this Service.

You agree to use the Service only for yourself, unless acting with valid legal authority on behalf of another person.

You warrant that all information submitted is complete, accurate, and truthful.

4. CLINICAL INDEPENDENCE AND CONSENT

By submitting a consultation through the Website:

You acknowledge that the decision to issue a prescription is entirely at the discretion of the independent doctor.
You consent to the doctor accessing your consultation details and making a clinical decision based on the information you provide.
You understand that submitting a consultation does not guarantee a prescription will be issued.
You confirm that you will read all materials provided, including the doctor’s instructions, the manufacturer’s leaflet, and any pharmacist guidance before taking medication.

5. RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE USER

You must disclose all relevant health information and update the doctor on any side effects or changes to your health during treatment.
You agree that any medicine prescribed is for your personal use only and will not be shared or distributed to others.
You acknowledge that this service is not a replacement for your GP and agree to consult them when advised.
You accept responsibility for informing your GP or other healthcare providers about any treatment received through WeightLossInjections.ie.

6. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by law, WeightLossInjections.ie is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from:
Incorrect or incomplete information submitted by you
Failure to follow advice or instructions from the doctor
Failure to notify your GP of treatment
Misuse of any prescribed medication

WeightLossInjections.ie is not responsible for technical interruptions, service delays, or temporary outages of the website.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under Irish law.

7. CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS

Prescriptions are issued entirely at the discretion of the doctor.
If the doctor decides not to issue a prescription, you will receive a full refund.
Refunds will not be provided for consultations where a prescription is issued.

8. PLATFORM USE AND AVAILABILITY

We aim to ensure that the Website is accessible 24/7. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service and will not be held liable for any downtime or service disruptions beyond our control.

9. PRIVACY AND DATA PROTECTION

Your personal and health data is processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. Healthcare Now Limited is the data controller.

Please refer to our Privacy Policy for full details on how your data is collected, used, and stored, including the contact details of our Data Protection Officer.

You consent to the electronic exchange of your personal and medical information between Healthcare Now Limited, the independent doctor, the dispensing pharmacy, and the service providers we use to deliver the Service.

10. Communications

We will contact you about your consultations, prescriptions and orders using the contact details you provide. These messages are part of the Service and may be sent by email, phone, SMS, or WhatsApp.

As a patient of our Service, we may also send you information about our own similar services and requests for feedback or reviews by email, SMS or WhatsApp. You can refuse these messages when you book, and you can opt out at any time afterward by replying STOP to a message, using the unsubscribe link in an email, changing your preferences in your patient account, or emailing hello@weightlossinjections.ie. We will not send these messages more than 12 months after your last consultation unless you have opted in to continue receiving them. Opting out does not affect messages about your care.

If you would prefer that we do not contact you by SMS or WhatsApp at all, tell us, and we will use email or phone only. This will not affect your treatment.

11. FORCE MAJEURE

We shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform any obligation under these Terms due to events outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, power failures, or internet outages.

12. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION

The laws of Ireland govern these Terms and any dispute or claim. The Irish courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

13. COMPLAINTS AND CONTACT

If you are unhappy with any part of the Service or the conduct of a prescribing doctor, please email us at hello@weightlossinjections.ie, and we will help resolve the matter or refer it to the appropriate clinical authority.

If your complaint concerns the handling of your personal data, please contact our Data Protection Officer Brendan Cuttriss hello@weightlossinjections.ie. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Commission at www.dataprotection.ie.

14. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any updates will be posted on the Website, and continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
